Every week, we speak to people who tell us they didn’t realise support like ours was available.
Sometimes it’s an older person who wants to stay independent at home. Sometimes it’s a husband, wife, son or daughter doing their best to care for a loved one and finding it harder than they expected. Sometimes it’s someone coming out of hospital who could use a little extra support while they get back on their feet.

Many people are also unaware that financial support may be available. Attendance Allowance and Self-Directed Support funding can often help towards the cost of care and support.
Current Self-Directed Support rates:
• Falkirk Council – £28.12 per hour
• Stirling Council – £26.79 per hour
