‘Excellent’ by The Care Inspectorate

Creative Homecare awarded ‘Excellent’ two years running!
Creative Homecare Awarded ‘Grade 6’ by Care Inspectorate for Second Consecutive Year
Creative Homecare has received the highest grade, ‘Grade 6: Excellent,’ from the Care Inspectorate for the second year in a row. The local care provider moved up from a ‘Grade 5’ in 2022 to a ‘Grade 6’ in 2023 and maintained this top score in the most recent inspection.
Supporting Vulnerable Individuals in the Community
Creative Homecare plays a key role in helping vulnerable individuals live independently at home across Stirling, North Lanarkshire, and Falkirk. Additionally, every penny earned from their services is reinvested into Strathcarron Hospice, a vital local charity.
Margaret Foy, Business Development Manager at Creative Homecare, shared her thoughts: “Our support workers are essential in helping customers maintain their independence. It’s often a difficult transition when people need assistance with
personal care. However, the professional, respectful, and compassionate nature of our carers allows them to work closely with families, tailoring services to ensure customers remain in control of their care and stay in their homes as long as possible.”
A Commitment to Exceptional Care
“We strive to offer the same level of care we would expect for our own families. Each person is treated as an individual, not just a list of needs,” Margaret added. “We are overjoyed to have received the highest rating again from the Care Inspectorate. The positive feedback from our customers is a testament to the hard work of our team.”
According to the Care Inspectorate’s report, “The service places great importance on establishing relationships based on trust and mutual respect. People highly valued this approach and spoke warmly of their carers.” The report also emphasised that Creative Homecare’s team delivers bespoke support to customers, helping with household tasks and personal care needs. Staff are fully trained and well-supported by the management team.
Customer Feedback
The Care Inspectorate also conducted interviews with customers. Here’s what some of them had to say:
“Creative Homecare not only offers practical help but also provides companionship. This has had a huge positive impact on my Mum’s physical and mental health. They are, in a word, exceptional.”
“The family struggled to find weekend assistance, especially on Saturdays. Creative Homecare immediately put my mind at rest. They assessed Mum at home and discussed how they could help. Their service has been invaluable, especially since two family members live abroad.”
“This is the fourth or fifth care company my Mum has had, and it’s the kind of care we wish we’d found earlier. It’s been a rollercoaster, but Creative Homecare has been a lifesaver.”
“I appreciate the daily notes on what the carers have done. This helps me stay informed and ensures nothing is overlooked. The office staff is great at communicating with me and passing on important information.”
Supporting Strathcarron Hospice
Strathcarron Hospice needs to raise £14,632 daily to continue providing its specialist end-of-life care and services. All profits from Creative Homecare go directly to supporting the hospice. Choosing Creative Homecare not only ensures excellent care but also contributes to a vital local charity.
You don’t need to have a direct connection to Strathcarron Hospice to benefit from Creative Homecare. By choosing us, you support the continuation of these important services for the community.
