Our mission goes beyond care as our profits are reinvested into Strathcarron Hospice where we are based.   The Role This newly created role will be integral to the business, providing essential administrative support across our service. The Admin Support Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the homecare service. The successful applicant will support the administration and finance functions by producing accurate customer invoices, managing local authority finance portals, and preparing payroll information for support staff. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work confidentially within a fast- paced care environment. We are seeking a motivated and organised assistant to work alongside our Homecare Manager. This role is key to keeping our service running smoothly, ensuring our team and customers are supported with efficient systems, accurate records and compliant with company policies and GDPR.   Key Responsibilities   Administration & Invoicing  Prepare, produce, and issue accurate customer invoices in line with care delivery records and contractual agreements.  Manage and update the local authority commissioning portal, ensuring all required information is submitted on time  Ensure all invoicing data is checked, validated, and processed within agreed timescales. Maintain well-organised electronic filing systems   Payroll Support  Prepare and submit accurate payroll data for care staff, including hours worked, mileage and expenses claims, holiday entitlements, and any adjustments.  Check rota information and electronic call monitoring (ECM) data for accuracy  Maintain confidentiality and comply with employment regulations and data protection  requirements. General Administrative Support Support the office team with administrative tasks as required  Assist with updating internal systems, care records, and staff documentation.
